Can be. The medicine ain’t much better cause it makes you groggy and you don’t feel like doing anything. Spent a lot of time out there. Only took the Dramamine once. Never did get sick but nauseated once or twice. It has to do with the motion. Had a friend that was a commercial fisherman and he got sick ONE time. Said it was when all the right “conditions” came together. There is a reason charter boats are open and drain to the back. After a trip watch what they do. Take a big powerful hose and just wash everything (vomit) to the back and overboard to feed the fish. I would take the medicine (night before trip) and then evaluate if it is worth it. I always focused on the clouds if I felt it coming on. Usually too busy to notice BUT do not go down below in the head!

Obviously you can’t be in two boats at the same time so do you get to go with one of them or are you assigned a new angler or do YOU even get to “work” the Knockout Round. I bought and fixed a Brecknell scale to be exactly like yours but have not figured out how to take a picture of me weighing the fish when I am by myself!😂 Which is most of the time.

Just my luck to buy a $9.00 defective lure! I have checked it over closely and can’t find a “hole” or place for water to get in. Cast it and it sits just great in the water. Start retrieving and by the time it gets in it is full of water and sinks, EVERYTIME! It is such a natural looking frog and the legs act perfect. I am not giving up on it. Anybody out there with experience using this Lunkerhunt Lunker Frog please respond with your experience observations. Too good looking to give up on. The suggestion to hold the rod tip up while reeling is my only hope at the moment. Will let everyone know if this is “an answer” next time I am out on the water.

I have several different makes of frogs and yes they all take on water but this Lunkerhunt model fills up EVERY time and sinks by the time you reel it in. Other brands take several casts but not this Lunkerhunt. Just wondered if I had a defective frog or is true with every Lunkerhunt?

I bought this lure as it attracted my attention and looks so natural. It fills with water by the time you reel it back in and sinks! You squeeze it and all the water spurts out and it is ready to go again. I can not find a hole or any defect that causes it to fill with water. It will set and float without taking on water but when you begin reeling it quickly fills and sinks! Anybody else experience this? It is such a great looking frog with the legs and how it sets on the surface UNTIL you retrieve it. Any ideas?

I would bet Roland remembers that “event” with your son.

Let me tell you this, if Roland Martin speaks you need to listen! Freshwater, Saltwater, pond, lake, river, stream, no matter the species, you need to listen.

Let me help you. NOTHING works! Without tension you are herding cats or pushing a ball with a rope or shoveling cow crap with a spoon. Get my point? Just like tying braid straight to a lure. Roland Martin says the palomar is the ONLY knot and it has to be tied a particular way. Three years and 15 different ways and i still have zero confidence in any FG knot! Love how it turns out until i cast and watch my lure and leader keep on going or land a fish and just lift my line and watch the leader slip out and fall to the ground!! What the crap? Getting ready to try one more way from youtube Flukemaster video.

Stay out of the locals’ way! Be prepared to stand and watch. After a few days someone will approach you and ask you some questions. Your answers will determine if you get accepted into the local clique. That’s the way it works.

My Rapala scissors suck. The line just folds over and gets frayed. I imagine each pair probably performs differently.

Are you kidding me! I must have 10 different pairs of scissors “especially made to cut braid” and none, not one pair work as good as what i just witnessed. Talk to you later as I am off to Family Dollar! Thanks!!!
