I 1958 or so I was making $1.25 a week working for a mechanic shop feeding their Rottweilers seven days a week and cleaning up the yard from all the dog doodie.. Then I started hanging around and became the shop go for and graduated to $5.00 a week but still had to take care of the dog.. I worked my way through high school and collage as a mechanic.. And in 1970 I purchased a brand new Plymouth GTX... Great old days....
I have been carrying a Gerber assisted opening pocket knife for about ten years and it's internal spring that assists with opening the knife broke. So I called Gerber and they sent a new replacement.. Great company to do business..
Very humorous.. Everyone stay healthy and wear a mask, Sy..
The only thing that are made to last are Penn reels.
70 Plymouth GTX with a 440 with three duces and four on the floor with the pistol grip shifter..
Hay, that's why it is called fishing..

Sy.... how long does the nail polish take to dry, say in 50% humidity @ 80 deg. F ?
It take about a minute because you are applying a light coat.. Sorry for taking so long to reply, Sy..
The only time I cut up a piece of shrimp is for Porgy fishing..

Yeah…i tried that last winter…bought shrimp…peeled em..and cured them. I fished with them form the surf but didnt have much luck with them for some reason. Thought id try live shrimp this season.
I don't peel the shrimp.. Uncleaned, scales and head on just salted down..
I have been using Shrimp to catch Porgies, Fluke, Blues, Weak, Black and Stripes.. But I get the shrimp for free.. I ask the fish monger in the supermarket for the shrimp that is old and he is going to discard.. Usually I would get bout 20 pound and I put them into used zip lock bags. About 10 in a bag after they have all been salted down with kosher salt.. When I go fishing I would take a bag or two along for bait.

Always have a trash bag in my truck when I run the beaches.
That's very commendable..

Teach, it appears a few don't understand what you and i know. Might be the way we and they are holding and casting that causes that braid cut on the pointer finger.
Or is it possible that our collogues don't really fish to experience their fingers being cut from the braided line..
