Mine was a 1968 Black Volkswagen Baja Bug with a 1 piece fiberglass front end that was white. I had headers with NO Muffler just an off-road type stinger.

54 Chevy Belair 4 door. Was the 3rd owner. First babied it and the Second changed the oil once in 2 years. Learned to drive when a tire would blow out as I would go to the junk yard and buy a tire and then get it mounted for almost as much as I paid for the tire. LOL It was the second safest vehicle I ever owned.

Mine was a 1981 Dodge D150. It was four wheel drive with a 360 motor. Regular cab long bed. That truck would go anywhere and through anything.

'67 Ford Fairlane 500. Didn't have a big engine, just a 289V8 but boy was that car fast for what it had.
Couldn't keep a left motor mount in that thing. Kept breakin the pin. Finally put a 1/2 steel bolt through it and it lasted a long time till it ripped the mount off the frame. But the bolt didn't break.

You ever kinda wonder why they didn’t call the Ford Fastlane instead. We welded chain to frame and ran the bolt through it. Can add chain so if ever breaks the chain keeps the motor from bending the hood. Ripping radiator etc. trans mount loose can make the left break easier. Didn’t have anything to do with the speed of your foot pushing down the pedal?? πŸ€ͺ. Sounds like fun

No, it was from floorin it and poppin the clutch. Too much torque. The fan always hit the fan/radiator shroud when the mount was broken and you popped the clutch and floored it. Man were we stupid. But I sure had a lot of fun in that car.

Well, my first car was a '47 Plym. No idea what model it was, it was a 6 cyl. 3 on the tree. It couldn't lay rubber in any gear. After that, I don't know, I had a 48 Pont. straight 8, a couple of Studebackers, a Nash, and a'58 Etisol. My first new car was a '65 Ford Fairlane 500, red with a black vinyl roof. It was one of the biggest mistakes I had ever made because I couldn't afford it. Another mistake was not putting that Etisol away. I guess they are worth some money now. It was one of the worst cars I ever owned, it wouldn't start if it was below a +9*. If it was +10 it would pop off. The damn thing didn't run anyway. Of course, I had a couple of Studebakers, a Nash, a Pont., all antiques.
