I have a 1974 Johnson 25hp and it still runs great! Better to go with a company you can trust I think! Will be cheaper in the long run!!!
Low speed idle jet? Sounds crazy but that’s what happened to mine although I have a 1980s 25, check points and gas tank if you have an air leak even a little one fuel pump can’t work properly! Had small leak in my gas line and it caused this too! Hope this helps!
Is he in front of the boat? That will make a very big difference! He can hit the holes first!! Or if your bank fishing you need to get ahead of him! If you’re fishing behind him he will always get the fish!
I live inSaint Augustine and the bass fishing is great today at our bigger lakes!! Going back out tomorrow to try lake George!!

Does anyone else think maybe we could regulate fishing tournaments? In the last 3 years I have noticed more and more tournaments, every weekend and 4 days a week! It’s crazy! I’m not saying stop them at all but regulate them a little for healthier fisheries! Year after year the fishing gets tougher and more pressure. What’s your all’s opinion?
Put some lock tight on it
It depends on what kind of fishing you’re doing. If I’m throwing a frog 55-60lb, punching grass and pads 65-80lb for everything else a 20-30lb braid is probably good! I only use the heavy stuff and then go to florol. That’s for bass fishing
Put on oak plank, butter salt garlic bell peppers strip of bacon. Put in oven at 400 for 3hrs pull out,through fish away eat the plank!
Spinning rod/reel bobber and minnows. Might have to reel and cast a lot but it will keep you above the weed line. Hope this helps
