Eighter you’re using a very small reel or you have a very very long finger I don’t see you being able to catch the line and stop the cast at will sorry and Fishon Fishon!!!!
I say baitcaster for the simple reason you can stop the cast with your thumb not with a spinning reel must be for fishing open water !!!!
How can you say braid is better than mono???
Go to Walmart get you a zebco combo rod and reel go out and enjoy then upgrade later and Fishon Fishon!!!!
How far do you’ll think a largemouth bass will run (swim) to get a artificial bait say a spinner bait???

I prefer the bright green so I can see my line when it moves from a bite and I agree I’ve never missed a fish from it seeing my line and Fishon Fishon!!!!
Frogs are great top water baits they go right thru cover with no hangups I prefer the ones with the feet they make lots of noise white, black, and the yellow belly ones seem to do best good luck and Fishon Fishon!!!!

First of all they make different sizes, next of all why not make your own bobber stops using two coffee stir straws and mono fishing line bright green is what I use so I can see it or the bright yellow go on google YouTube and search DIY making bobber stops they have a lady making them and Fishon Fishon!!!!
I’ve had great luck with the Fishdrops LB200 Pro I have 5 of them 17 + 1 bearings, both drags only had trouble with one pin broke they sent me a complete new reel right away, they cast great good drag no noise casting or retrieving good luck and Fishon Fishon!!!!
