It’s an Okuma Calera 6.6.1 with 15 lb fluro paired with a 6’9 medium heavy Abu Garcia Vengeance.

Can't really tell from the pic. but if your line is running through the first small clip looking thing, thats a hook holder not an eye. Hard to see from the pic.

Looks like he may just have it snapped to the hook holder and not laced thru the eyes yet. IDK

I have a set up very similar to that. Abu black master on an Abu 7 foot medium heavy rod with 10 pound fluorocarbon line. Works great for bass. Both large mouth and small mouth.

Not necessarily. Depends on the action of the rod. Gear ratio of the real. What you'rer going after. Lotta variables to consider. If that were the case. Only braided woul be sold.
