G****l w*****g, yes. Don't confuse weather with c*****e c****e. A warmer climate causes more frequent e*****e w*****r. Hotter hot, colder cold ,ect. But also extremes we have had occasionally forever, it was -40* in Feb. 1976, also the worst thunderstorm I have ever seen July 4th that same year in the Willamette Valley . We almost never get severe weather here. But gradually we are getting hotter and drier and our Fir trees are starting to die.
C*****e c****e is gradual, a part of a degree in the yearly average, hardly noticable if not for the extremes, they get our attention.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Christmas Spirit?
I haven’t seen a single Chia Pet or Santa sledding down a hill on a Norelco shaver commercial on tv. It just doesn’t seem like Christmas without them.
Things do seem a little off this year

Kudos and good morning to my walking encyclopedias of fishing.
In the past I have seen people use WD-40 before rinsing off their fishing gear to attack or loosen any salt or sand and suggest that it is good for the line even to go as far saying good attractant for fish. Sounds fishy to me has anyone used or tried on their equipment.
And pondering using 30 lb floral carbon for mainline some say the diameter is too large will coil off spinning reel and some say it's a softer material and breaks easier I say I take it to the experts who may have knowledge of this. As always I appreciate your knowledge and any feedback you may have. thank you

Don't use WD 40 if you are going to store the reels it will get sticky and attract dust

After reading the sign some people just do it to see if can be done
