Doug,
Google Fishing With Johnny Johnson and scroll through his videos. He has several from Saguaro Lake.

Bwoods,
When I first retired to Arizona I hired a guide for a few trips. It is amazing how much it helped. If you can find a way to afford it I bet it would help.

Riverbottom,
When I lived in Utah I visited the Hill Air Force Base Museum twice and really enjoyed it.

Sometimes when I'm grilling steaks I saute sliced garlic in butter on the side burner while the steaks are cooking. Makes a nice topping for the steaks but it takes awhile to peel and slice.

High light of my summer was an overnight visit from Jim Sargent and friend Cindy. I don’t get visitors much and it was a real treat for me.

Mike took us to an outstanding Mexican restaurant and fed us a home cooked breakfast as well as a night time trip to a beautiful park for stargazing. A very pleasant visit.

Tuesday we were towing our small travel trailer through back country Montana. Came across a UPS carrier desperately trying to kick out a roadside fire he had spotted adjacent to a wheat field ready for harvest. Cindy grabbed the fire extinguisher out of the trailer and handed it to me so I could help. It made a big difference. Stayed until the local fire department arrived then headed out.

The firemen were super appreciative. If that wheat field went up it could have been a disaster for the farmers. If we hadn't had the trailer we wouldn't have had the fire extinguisher.

As soon as we get home from vacation I will purchase an additional fire extinguisher to keep in the truck.

Our men's Bible Study group just finished Pastor Adam Hamilton's book Seeing Grey in a Black and White world. It is excellent and written by a committed and successful minister.

Greg,
Fred is right on. I prefer at least a 24 volt 80 pound thrust. My first was a 12 volt 55 pound thrust on a Lowe FM165. Thought it was okay until I moved up to the bigger unit. Would never go back.

Kerry,
Even more amazing was the way it happened. I was using a Baretta over/under and had time to reload twice. A very big covey that rose two or three at a time. I've never seen anything like it before or since.
