I have decided to take a road trip to the northwest states. I did this several years ago but wanted to do it again, probably for the final time. I have only three places that I have in mind. WW11 aircraft museum in Colorado Springs,CO, The black canyon of the Gunnison around Montrose, CO. and Glacier National park in Montana. I will be in Idaho from top to bottom then utah { where I went to college}, Then into New Mexico.
turn east to Texas and home in the eastern part of the state. I would love to get input from any of you as to any other place along that route you would would suggest. Thanking you in advance RB

Well RB, if you're goin all the way to Glacier Park, I would definitely get in touch with JB. Maybe PM him and see if y'all can get together.
Probly the BEST GUIDE you could have for that whole area of Montana.
You may as well visit Mt Rushmore and the Devil’s Tower on the way there!
Safe trip!

If you make it to Glacier, take the tour bus on the road to the sun. They will tell you more on that ride than you could learn in a week on your own. Then go back and visit the places that caught your interest; same thing ifn you go to Yellowstone. IMO.
All noted and will put on my list. many thanks RB
Riverbottom,
When I lived in Utah I visited the Hill Air Force Base Museum twice and really enjoyed it.
