Good one here from the Gmchief and a great way to start off the month as we near the end of summer knowing many of us have once again developed Real and Reel Friends over the past few months.

Any one care to express their summer high light?

For me it was the East Coast M&G. Got to spend family time with Terry and Dee, met some new FS members, increased my fish count at Bald Eagle, and making plans to hook up with Troy and Gordon.

Cast in some fairly good health and Yes, summer was good.

High light of my summer was an overnight visit from Jim Sargent and friend Cindy. I don’t get visitors much and it was a real treat for me.

Great post Plum to start the month. My highlight was a cruise with my youngest son and his family. My grandsons had PawPaw on the move. We travel to Spain Rome and Italy. Visit the Pope and while in Rome we visit where Paul was in prison. Amazing how they have preserved the times of Jesus on Earth. I am looking forward to Plum visit. We have never met but we have talked on the phone a few times. My highest point of life in general is becoming a member of FS. A great group of friends who show as well have shown love and caring. People who have compassion. We are FAMILY.

I would agree with you Bob. Our M&G was outstanding! Had a great time meeting more of our Stage brothers, and expanding my knowledge of The Eagle. I'm heading back out there on the 10th and am looking forward to that as well.

Of course I did Plum. I spoke very highly of you. However I did tell him to be sure to have lots of wine when you visit.

Thanks for having my back Troy. I hope they give me a goblet or a stein. Those little 1 oz cups just don't make it on Sunday's.

No it isn't Butch. Solley's should be good into October, Marburg pot lick there.

But you getting well is priority brother, the fish will wait on you.

Are you saying you lied to the pope? Not the way you write about him here.

I for one had a great time at the NE M/G. Got to meet some great friends from the stage. The high light of my summer was July 10th when my grandson Jameson Brien Koehnle was born. Plum I hope you have a blast with Troy and Gordon but please try and not spend to much time at the still πŸ€ͺ. I hope y'all have a great weekend and a relaxing Labor day you've earned it 😊
