Really nice fish. Haven't been there since spring. There are some huge trout in there.

Went for a ride up to Pinecrest Lake yesterday and to my surprise, the lake was not down as much as normal and wide open. Looked beautiful to hike and fish.

This time of year, the lake is drawn way down and then covered in snow and ice. Tough to fish.
What kind of fishing do you like to do? I live in riverbank and mostly fish for bass. Delta and foothill lakes.
I love Don Pedro but $35.00 a trip is ridiculous . Thinking about a season pass. 10 trips will pay for it.

I'm with Kerry, too many crazy escapades including falling in a whitewater river and trying to tread water for a few hundred yards . Never dropped my rod!
For me Lews are great but I love this Shimano Curado DC. Casts far.
