Have any of you central CA folks been out to troll for trout at Lake McSwain? I've fished McClure a lot but thought I'd try McSwain on Tuesday since water so low everywhere else. What lures or baits did you have success with?

Water low at McSwain too but still fishable with boat. I usually troll with flashers, wedding ring lure with a night crawler on a 18-24 inch leader. I don’t use a heavy weight, just enough to keep it down off the bottom. I mostly fish on opposed side bank from the launch and start at the dam and work my way up to the chimney or a little way beyond and come back the same way. They have been stocking pretty much weekly. The chimney is on the right side as you head up river. Pretty much the same set up you use on McClure. Good luck and have fun.
