I was wondering how fishing was in Calif. with the drought and low water levels. When I lived down there I did some of my best fishing when they had a drought and the water level in the reservoirs were low made it easier to locate the fish since they didn't have as much lake to go to. looks like from your pictures that fishing is still pretty good in the low water conditions. Don't know if it is true or not maybe you can confirm, but I heard the drought and water restrictions are so bad you can only use "dry" flies when fishing in Calif.

Fishing is still good! Dry fly fishing is probably just what that water is restricted to. Like barbless or single hook or no live bait, etc.
