Looks like the Pogie fishery will suffer next year.

Nice fish, but what is that standing on the rock across the lake over your just right of your right shoulder near the edge of picture? Bear or Bigfoot?

No, never made it to the water. I fell one morning around 03:30 because of captain error. I landed on the launch instead of the water. I use the Mustang in any case for the simple reason that brand is used by the Coast Guard.

During the warm and hot weather I use the automatic. If the weather is heavy or it's cold I use a Mustang float coat.
I'm just used to the auto due to the nature of my work, they are light, not bulky, and allow freedom of movement of my arms, hands and I can turnaround and look down to see where my next step is.

You never know. There could be a stray bull shark up that way. My wife swore she had a crab on her cane pole while I was out fishing last time up. We are going again next May. Thanks again for turning us on to the rental.

I got them around Middle Bay Light. The bait and colors are in my post.

I caught these last week on Fishbites grubs. One on Hammer Fist and one on Smack Down. 21" and 22"

Love catching those sole fishes. They are going nutz down here on Fishbite grubs. I was a hardcore Pink or Chartruse Gulp fisher until I tried these. The colors on the website don't do them justice. They are the same as Gulp. The last two I caught were 21" and 22". You can find the grubs online at Fishbites, the link would not post. I will post my pic's next.

My first thought was a smoker/oven for salmon or other fishes. I believe the lake is named for the
Umpqua Nation of Native Americans. Really cool looking. I would be curios to see what it is made of.

Maybe. But one would think that if your mechanic had it at the shop and you were able to see the pink slip that it would be OK.

Also, any law enforcement can run the VIN Numbers.

That size would win 1st in the ADSFR. Nice shehead. Have you ever cooked them on the half shell? They are delish, you can clean and gut, leave the scales on and grill the filets with your favorite season salt and butter.
