Carp is good smoked but then again almost anything smoked is good. Some of the pufferfish are very good and easy to clean but the porcupine puffers are good but you have to be licensed to clean them. Your lips still get a little numb but that's fun.

I've had some for almost a year. No problems yet. I have different models but they are all good. They also come with an extra spool which is nice.

I have a couple of their reels. I like them. I have expensive reels and not so much. They are great for the price.

Either smoke them or when you cook them put a piece of bacon in it. A world of differences

Ok I have some $600 rods, some $750 reels and you know what, the fish could care less about what you are using. It all depends on what you are going to do. Casting all day then you might want a light weight rod and reel. Just try to keep the lines tight.

The crew usually get to keep fish when they are for hire but the spotted sea trout are getting replenished so it's a good thing. When it is red snapper season on the east coast of Florida they get to keep one each every trip but the people paying can only keep one also. I don't think they should be able to keep any.

Well for me if I don't catch some then I don't have to clean them but its always about just relaxing. Things change when you get older and when you know life is getting short. Things just don't matter like they use to.

I try to get out 4 or 5 times a week when the chemo isn't kicking my ass. Sometimes for a few hours and sometimes 8 or more.

New to this fishing blog . Looks like a great place
to get fishing info and show some pictures of my
hobby. I’m a kayak fisherman in southern Fl.(retired
teacher). A few days ago I caught my first
Florida salt water Grand Slam ( Red, Snook, Trout).
All were about the same size. Tight Lines to all you
hookers.

Jazz welcome, I don't know if you kept the snook but if you did take the date off of it as the season didn't start until February 1st
