Just spent a week there. Great place. Fished the northern side side of inlet. Nice pier. Caught some black drum, jacks and a bunch of cat fish. Been fishing there for years. Usually June vacation. Saw two 400 lb Groupers pulled to the beach. Guys fishing the end of pier. This was in June Sand flea on inlet side of pier we’re catching Sheepheads. Whiteys bait and tackle is north of entrance to park. They have all the bait and tackle you’ll need. Watch for the flag on rt A1A. Live shrimp work great. Tackle store by pier is closed till further notice.

Crazy, went out to Block Island yesterday and the stripers were there. All too big to harvest.

Funny my father was a picky eater but had horse steak and said that was the best steak he ever had. Didn’t know it was horse lol. My sister in-law is a chicken cutlet eater, I had Hungarian salami and she said that was the best salami she ever had. Months later I told her it was donkey. Lmao

This pier is great. Shrimp is best. You can catch it all here. Never know what’s on end of pole lol. On the corner of rt 24 and rt 19 is best price for live shrimp. 23 dollars for 100. Has frozen bait also.

Shrimp are best. Dead is good. Fresh is better. You can catch anything on this pier. Bait shop on corner of 19 and rt24 is best deal at 100 shrimp for 21 dollars. Never know what’s on the end of the line.

Great Sacandaga Lake has 9 inches. That was on the 10th and 11th

Was fishing Great Sacandaga Lake on the 10th and 11th. 9 inches of ice. Caught a mud puppy, that was it. But great time anyway
