Need to focus on bunker stealing in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay. Omega 3 is killing the fishery!

Omega 3 is a very large contributor to Virginia politicians of all stripes.
Stripers Forever has documented Omega 3 and their activities in the Bay.
Sport anglers are not organized well enough to alter the course of that financial juggernaut in place.

I believe they are also goin to impose slot limits out here in California.
IDK but possibly 18- 28, something like that.
I would even be in favor of more along the lines of 16 to 26 if they were tryin to allow a 10 inch range.
Just seems to have 1000s of little ones to very few of the larger fish. That's JMO though.

Crazy, went out to Block Island yesterday and the stripers were there. All too big to harvest.

The slot of 28 to 31 inches is too narrow. Where I fish in Long Island Sound, most of the Stripers that I see are less than 26 inches. I could be happy with a slot of 26 to 31inches, but the slot of 28 to 31 inches will result in a lot of dead stripers and unhappy fisherpersons who couldn’t take home the fish.

I don't live there and I agree totally.

Exactly! Stupid rules
Why not just say none or limit open season to fewer days …
