I am committed to WD 40. If you get them to work, use it on regular basis, if you end up replacing them or the bags use WD 40 a few times per year and you probably will not have further problems. Good luck.
We haven't had much luck this year but the weather conditions haven't been cooperative either. Regardless, we're going to give it another try tomorrow.
If I head that way, you'll hear from me. Thanks.
Haven't had any yet, on my bucket list. If I find any I want the real thing, not something watered down and overpriced.
I was (unofficially) told that the current PFAS problem with the Huron River may take years to correct the problem. Apparently a business near Wixom caused the problem about 3 years ago. The same place did the same thing about 5 years before that...supposedly different owners. This is not official, but what I have been told.
Since my wife doesn't eat fish, I usually bag up what's left in large meal amounts. If Crappie or Blue Gill I don't filet them, bones come out easy after cooking. We do filet Perch, Walleye, and Bass, usually at the end of the season I have enough to get me through to next season. I have never had too many on my plate. BTW, we have a pretty generous limit around here, 50 Perch per person per day, I think 25 Crappie/Blue Gill, 5 Bass, and 6 Walleye. I probably have about 10-12 pounds in the freezer left now. Spring is coming.
Give me a hint, where is Pine River?
Used to annually go to Myrtle Beach and got hooked on Oyster Cocktails, basically a small glass filled with raw shelled oysters with sauce to dip them in, pretty well habit forming. I think that the name of the place was CAP'N NANCE'S.
The key here ls "cooked right", perch, sunfish, and crappies are great
A lot depends on how they are cooked. Lake (yellow) perch, walleye, channel catfish, bluegill, and crappie are great if prepared right. I have never fileted crappie or bluegill, when pan fried the bones are easily removed at the table.
Almost any garage can replace your hubs and bearings. I drilled through the side between the bearings, put in a grease fitting and pumped grease between inner and outer bearings, pumped grease in several times during the season, pulled trailer 20+ years and never had a problem. Bearing Buddies only fill outer bearings with maybe some dirty contaminated grease reaching the inner bearings. Think about what I said, but my 20+ years is a pretty good logic.
I have 3 from the early '60s, still using 2 but the third one needs some minor repairs. They might be a little noisy and a bit old fashioned but I don't think you can "hurt" them. I've put a lot of fish in the freezer with them.
We were out yesterday, tried walleye while looking for schools of perch on the Garmin. Saw a few likely spots 18-22 deep. Dropped anchor and found a mix of sheepshead, white bass, and perch. Probably 20% were keeers 8"+,some were 10"+ but not many. We ended up with about 12 perch and one 5# walleye for the day, not that good but better than nothing. All were caught near DTE power plant. Sorry, no pictures.

Not "KIT" car racing, there are no standard stock parts. BTW, I am also not a fan of veggie burgers either.
