Hi am new on here and would fishing report for Michigan waters for perch

Paddyj Loc: S E Michigan Lake Erie

We were out yesterday, tried walleye while looking for schools of perch on the Garmin. Saw a few likely spots 18-22 deep. Dropped anchor and found a mix of sheepshead, white bass, and perch. Probably 20% were keeers 8"+,some were 10"+ but not many. We ended up with about 12 perch and one 5# walleye for the day, not that good but better than nothing. All were caught near DTE power plant. Sorry, no pictures.

fishing report as of 8/24/2022:

Lake Erie: Yellow perch fishing geared up with anglers catching fish on minnow perch rigs near the number one and two buoys out from Bartnik Boat Launch, near the Ohio line. A one-pound yellow perch was caught in this location. Many anglers reported catching four to five white perch for every yellow perch. Red was a good bead color for catching the yellow perch. Just a couple walleye anglers were still catching a few of them in Michigan waters. Anglers going into Canadian waters were still getting some walleye catches.
