If you don’t read the label it is much better.. Sliced &fried it makes a great substitute for bacon, sausage, or ham with grits and eggs. Long ago and far away after a month or so of C-Rats it was as good as Prime Rib.

Another prayer request about eyes

On my prayer list now. When I was a 24 year old Marine in Vietnam I was wounded by a land mind and blind for almost two years before surgery restored vision to my left eye. I am now eighty and give thanks for the blessing of sight every day.
