Raw and cooked any way. Grilled, Rockefeller, Bienville, steamed and of course FRIED. Love that horseradish, ketchup and lemon juice.

Anyone put it in their turkey dressing?

My folks always did sausage in the dressing and a girlfriend from days gone bye did raw oysters in the dressing. It was rather good.

I've had them breaded and deep fried but I prefer clams to oysters

I like clams too but don’t have access to them like I do with oysters. I like a good clam chowder. Some of the New Orleans restaurants have some really good chowder.

My absolute favorite part of the meal Gordon, trouble is they’re more expensive than fresh lobster in Idaho but heck, gotta live it up once a year at least
