My wife and I love the product called Spam.
We eat Spam-a-lot ( Monty Python pun intended).
What is your take on this canned meat?
I've heard some obnoxious terms for the word Spam so please remember, this is a family friendly forum.
No wordy derds. ( spelling incorrectly also intended)

While I ate a lot of it when I was a kid, I never really cared for Spam. I think that this is because my grandmother made her own version when they 'put up the pig' and it was far better tasting.

I ate more when younger as well. I'm not too sure that all the fat and salt in it are good for me anymore. However, I will consume a can once in a while. I've heard that it's the national meat of hawaii due to it's heavy use during WWII.

I used to do a lot of camping out and SPAM was usually one of the food item's I'd bring with us. Other must haves is egg's, bacon potatoes, half gallon of milk, onions and camping skillet, Dutch oven, shovel and foil, premixed fish badder and fresh vegetables. SPAM in scrambled eggs or in HOBO dinner's I'd bury underneath hot coals. Of course we'd catch catfish on our trotline clean a couple for an evening meal too.

When we were in Hawaii (visiting), the McDonalds we went to served it like sausage. I’ve always liked it fried.

Grew up in scouts and did a lot of camping as well! Wouldn’t even think of heading out without two meals of spam! Ate it at home growing up and brought it into my marriage! Boy oh boy was that a mistake! My bride grew up on a hog farm! Canned spam was sacrilege! After 47 yrs together, have been able to pop a can or too, just as a reminder of good days gone by 😁😁
