I used to do a lot of camping out and SPAM was usually one of the food item's I'd bring with us. Other must haves is egg's, bacon potatoes, half gallon of milk, onions and camping skillet, Dutch oven, shovel and foil, premixed fish badder and fresh vegetables. SPAM in scrambled eggs or in HOBO dinner's I'd bury underneath hot coals. Of course we'd catch catfish on our trotline clean a couple for an evening meal too.I don't know why it posted twice either
Grew up in scouts and did a lot of camping as well! Wouldn’t even think of heading out without two meals of spam! Ate it at home growing up and brought it into my marriage! Boy oh boy was that a mistake! My bride grew up on a hog farm! Canned spam was sacrilege! After 47 yrs together, have been able to pop a can or too, just as a reminder of good days gone by 😁😁
