Lews stands behind their products, I own 3 Lews speed sticks I love them. I fish for Reds, Snook, trout (spotted) caught some fish 15lbs or better with no problems. I love the drag system on these models

You can cut the "wings" of the stingrays off
and get a strong round cutter or punch and punch out round portions of the stringray , trim off the skin and fry them or do what you would do for scallops they taste just like them

Fishing yesterday in the Tomoka Basin saw 6 Tarpon chasing mullet. What a site, not very big
But big enough to put a hurtin on some gears on a spinning outfit
