If your bank fishing then spin some small feather spinners for rainbow trout, good eating and they are biting. If you got a boat troll slowly around the shallows with small minnows or green shiny rubber lures. Worked for me in that area in November! Try Concow reservoir, largemouth and trout.

Cool pics and fish Saw1. Love trollin for stripers. Not got the hang of baitcastin for them yet. Working on that and sturgeon now. Deltas full of boats atm! Fisher folk everywhere! What rig you using for trollin?

About 4 to 5mph 100ft behind and jointed jumbo minnow (4-6ft diver) with brown worm on tail treble, Other rod had a fixed minnow floater with white worm no action! Up the Montezuma slough up to locks and back at the top of high water midday. Just under reed bed near entrance to slough on way out! Happy ending Saw!

It's 105 here in the Delta. Did some night fishing last night, not much. I can't fish when it's sweltering.

Tight Lines 🎣

Trolling around the lake and hour before departure this beauty came on. We tried everything for two days, chatter baits, worms, flys, chicken, and this hooked onto a small plastic soft lure with silver shiny inside. And Bobs your uncle, Roberts your mothers brother! Tasted fantastic too, bit of ginger and pimenta.

I have been wanting to upgrade my fish locator to one with GPS for navigation and lake mapping.
My old Humminbird 3D is too obsolete.
I Am learning towards the Lowrance Elite 9 Ti2 Series.
Does anybody out there have any experience with them?

Thanks
Clyde

Hi Clyde
I went with Garmin and got rid of the old Hummingbird. Garmin Gps/chartplotter echomap 94 is good but maps for offshore and inshore expensive. Unit works well and is very adjustable for scroll rate etc real easy.
Side view is waste of time tbh.
