Got out on the Napa early and caught 3 fish right away. Kept 2 of those, 19 inches and 21 inches.
Caught a few more but didn't keep any of those.
Fished till 1:30 and finally caught 4 more right before we left. Last fish was 10.25 pounds and 30 inches long.
All in all we caught a dozen fish and 7 were keepers. We kept 5 of them.

Saw a BIG golden eagle today. Won't be able to see it unless you can enlarge the pic.
He was absolutely huge. Looked like he was 4 feet tall. When it flew away his wingspan looked to be close to 8 feet.
Seen lots of eagles before but none that big. WOW, SO AWESOME !

Nice catch Saw, I shared some trout with a Bald Eagle today, also. Whenever he came out of the pine trees, I was either rigging a line or catching a fish, could never get to the phone when he was in photo range. Awesome birds!

When I was 14 we lived on Big Ranch Rd on a farm in the middle of a prune orchard. I was watching the migrant workers pick up the prunes off the ground after the trees were shaken when the boss man came up to me and asked if I was interested in making some money that summer. I said sure but I didn’t have a ride so he picked me up every day the rest of the season. I got a lot of strange looks at first but got a lot of respect by the end of the season for sticking it out.
I caught my first striper when I was 10 from what is now China Point park.
Man, you sure brought back a lot of good memories for me. Thanks
