I'd say "Go Hawks", but think it might be a tough year for Seattle. Regardless, "Go Hawks"...

Best advice would be to go with a guide on Lake Roosevelt. Many good options out there. You will learn more in a day than you can in a season working it out on our own. Given that, Walleye are great eating fish. They are fished for with bottom bouncers with a worm harness attached. Another alternative is to pull crank baits such as Berkley Flicker shads, which will catch many species of fish. Fishing from a boat or shore? Other alternative waters would include Potholes reservoir, Moses Lake, Banks Lake, and a host of other lakes not far from where you are located. Good luck!

Hoppers and other terrestrials are working in Eastern Wa/Northern Idaho. Would expect the same for the Yakima River. Check with local bait or fly shops and see what they recommend. Also check the WDFW regulations as there are restrictions on what you can use in that river system. I'd personally use a foam hopper with a Prince Nymph or Pheasant tail dropper fished 18-24 inches below the hopper. Good luck!

Keep an eye on the weather, warning flags, other boats etc. Respect the water. Been out many times, and the weather can turn rather quickly. Not a bad bar, as far as crossing goes, but as others have stated, be cautious and safe.

Good luck! Heard they are seeing near record numbers of fish (and possibly fishermen/women)...

Don't overlook Potholes Reservoir, right next to Moses Lake. Nice variety of fish, including a good to very good Walleye fishery

Looks like exceptionally strong runs for this year compared to the 10 year average. Good Luck!

I'm sure others are more experienced than I, but I've had the opportunity to fish the Clearwater a few times. Here's a basic set up:

Main Line – Trilene Big Game or #20-30 lb braid
Leader – Maxima 12lb Ultra Green
Float: Aero-Float AF-3: ½ to 1 oz
Hook – barbless #4
Jig: Aero-Jig Nightmare 1/32 or 1/16th oz (White head w/Red neck wrap and black Maribou body)

Note: Lower Granite Dam is the last dam before the Clearwater when checking fish runs – 38 miles from Clearwater confluence

Sorry if the pic isn't all that great. Took a picture of a Powerpoint slide I made up.
