Hi, for anybody who has been watching the fish passage counts on the Columbia, does it appear that the Chinook and Sockeye runs are on schedule this year for Chelan Falls/Brewster pool, or do they seem to be a little behind schedule? I have not monitored them previously, and have a trip planned July 5-8. Appreciate any opinions.
Looks like exceptionally strong runs for this year compared to the 10 year average. Good Luck!
Rumor has it the pandemic kept some of the foreign ocean fleet off the juvenile fish, so survival is higher than predicted. Always a shame to see 4-pound chinook harvested at sea by ocean trawlers.
