While on vacation we caught a limit of LMB and SMB every day, mostly fishing Wacky Rigs. Yamamoto Senkos and Berkley Generals. The most productive colors were Baby Bass, June Bug, Watermelon Magic and Peanut Butter and Jelly in Senkos and Green Pumpkin and June Bug in the Berkleys.

What colors have you done the best with?

Watermelon, in either black flake OR red flake usually work pretty well on our lakes.

Down here NoVA, soft creatures in green pumpkin with red flake, watermelon candy, and junebug are my go to's; same for senkos. For swimbaits, bluegill colors since that's the primary forage in the local impoundments.

Over the years the grn/pump has been number one. However, tried the Natural Shad color this year and has done really well for me.

While in Canada fishing in June we caught several small and they seemed to have a preference for 5” senkos. Not sure what the color was called the package was worn. They weee a deep purple almost blue with silencer specks. Here in Indiana I have better luck with watermelon or pumpkin seed

Sooo Yamamoto Baits was sold to GSM Outdoors in 2021. GSM has a group of outdoor companies largely in the shooting sports. Looking at the Yamamoto catalog shows 122 colors available for 5" Senkos. And there are some either not currently in production or discontinued because I did not find Peanut Butter and Jelly on the list. I think that color was productive for us because it resembles crawdads. Now I'll look try some green pumpkin/copper/orange color.
