Looking for an all around bass spinning rod for under 200$

New to fishing

if you switch to spinning reels, you will need spinning rods. An Ugly Stik Elite medium will keep your rod cost down to $50 per rod.

Else spend $250 on a new Shimano baitcaster dc 150

Couple that with some fingers n thumbs that want to cramp and I have a test of patience. I try to have two r 3 rod n reels ready when I hit the water.

Beaver Bend State Park

I guess you know you can fish for trout below and above Broken Bow lake. Broken Bow lake has cool water so smallmouth bass might be a target for you. Be sure and ask the local bait shops what’s happening on the lake.
