Heading to Beavers Bend State Park in OK. What are some good spots around the area and will be fishing off a kayak. Need some ideas for set up.

Get a good lake map. I would go as far north as possible to put in just to avoid the skiers and pleasure boaters. Pay attention to the weather. When it gets windy it can be very dangerous to small craft.

I guess you know you can fish for trout below and above Broken Bow lake. Broken Bow lake has cool water so smallmouth bass might be a target for you. Be sure and ask the local bait shops what’s happening on the lake.
