That's good if you're using whale hooks like this guy but using smaller hooks and thinner line on a boat in the wind it ain't as easy....

Yes, Hoss: And a lot has to do with a pair of old eyes! Even with bifocals, it can get pretty difficult early in the AM or around sundown. Know how, and being able to accomplish what one knows is two different things. Just Sayin...RJS

Basically, a uniknot but more difficult to tie as shown.

I know what you mean RJ.... that’s why I bought a pair of clip on the hat magnifying glasses and a knot tying tool. They really help with small hooks and light line!!

Couple that with some fingers n thumbs that want to cramp and I have a test of patience. I try to have two r 3 rod n reels ready when I hit the water.
