The only time the water in a toilet bowl moves where I'm from, is during an earthquake. I've never seen it happen, because if it's quaking, I'm not sticking around to see if the water is moving. After the last 2 big ones we've had, I am not long for standing inside any building. I get my ass outside. Quick.

Some people up here(including myself) have, or do, floss for salmon. Except a lot of the time we can't see them. You just have to have the "feel" for it. If it's not hooked around the mouth area, it has to go back.

More like, carry you under. Down into one of those big gnarly whirlpools. When I was a young kid, I lived on North Whidbey by the Deception Pass Park, and two older boys who rode the same bus went in a canoe to take pictures of the bald eagles. They tried to get to that island off to the west of the bridge, but they both died in that current. That must've been in 1980, I think. Pretty sad memory.
