Just wishing all of you out here on the stage a Merry Fishmas Christmas,All ornaments on the tree have either been used to catch fish or will soon be used to catch fish

That is a great tree! Fishing lures will look mighty fine hanging from those branches! Have a Merry Christmas season as well! I just wrapped up helping my wife decorate our home, with the final touch being to change out music CD's in our stereo and replacing them with Christmas themes.

I'd much rather see my lures hanging on the Christmas Tree than on a tree next to the river,LOL

Funny you should say that...as I had the same thought about having to "de-tangle" them in the wild! I don't like losing lures, so I have been known to become involved in some pretty radical stunts to retrieve them!

I've brought one of those extendable pole pruners out to the river a couple times, not to retrieve my own but to collect others, gotten some pretty good scores that way.

I don't know if I like that idea. It's to cold to fish right now and I've already got fishing fever. Very pretty tree, and I have some of those fishing floats.

Great idea. Makes me think! I should do the same, but fill the tree with lures that have not caught me fish. Only problem is that the branches would all be sagging with the weight. LOL Enjoy your Christmas season. I hope you get lots of new ornaments for that tree.

An added comment for those up here in Washington, the spoons, spinners and twitching jigs have all worked for salmon in the rivers,Acehigh hoochie skirts out on Puget Sound, slip boobers and small Aerojigs(mostly red)are my go to for steelhead, the only ones I haven't caught with are the bass plugs(haven't targeted bass yet) and the winged spin-glo's but they sure look nice on the tree.
