Landed this 23" "wild" Scottish or loch brown trout on float trip out of Bryson City NC with guide Kevin and neighbor. Also 5 nice rainbow. All on green or black/red bead head streamers. A bit chilly at first but best time of year for browns coming upstream to spawn on Tuck(aseegee) from Fontana Lake.

Lived in Waynesville for 30 years and fished the entire area frequently. Fished year round and loved late fall for Browns. Beautiful fish!! dr. bob

That’s a beauty. Been years since I’ve caught any brownies.
