A week or so ago I saw some very impressive personal best pictures and would you have it mounted. Here is a pic of mine and i'm glad I had it stuffed, got the filets off of it too. This one was a little over 30" and weighed in at 11 lbs. She had just laid out and taxidermy dude said it would have weighed more full of eggs. For scale, the cushions are 24" wide.
Mom I'd Like to Foolaroundwith. But, a short form four letter word.
I believe the spool will roll around inside the bottle and make a birdnest unless you put painters tape around the spool. What I use down here is part of a pool noodle 16" long. I wrap the hook end 3' is sufficiant because most fish feed upwards, and when done wrap it up and stick the hook in the noodle. The weight end 10-15' with a 3/4 oz lead, wrap it and stick the weight in the noodle when done. This works real well for eater size fish. Still have to chase some of them. Hope that helps.

That is what a State Attorney General is good for, if he is not a cousin/barge owner. Local news can help too.

I finally got to go Saturday and Sunday. Limited out both days. Windy as heck, used sallies and pork frogs.

Yes, it will. The weather is great right now. You can get a Florida license at "Go Outdoor Florida". There are several options. If you fishing more than a week, a year license is not that much more than a one week license. Last time I was at NAS Pensacola this time of year I was at the CG Station on NAS working. The Blue Angels were practicing for the spring show. If you get to see them practice it's as good as the real deal without the crowd.
WOW, I had no idea that treble hooks were illegal in Florida. They are legal in Alabama where you will be staying. No worries about RED TIDE here. The only RED I look for this part of the season is those teeny weeny red bikini's. Every now and then in late summer during dog days we gey some red tide, but not often.

Heading south next week.😀 what’s a good bait to use on pier? Would like to grab some sheepheads.
If you can buy them or catch them (in a crab basket) Fidler Crabs work great. You have to have a hammer to break them out of their shell. The smaller the live shrimp the better. Also, small treble hook.

There are also piers in Oakaloosa Island, Pensacola Beach, Navarre and Destin. The couple that drugged my wife ant the other gal introduced therselves as coming from Florida. The drinks the pervs brought them were bushwhackers. They thought they were just being nice. After they realized what was going on Bro in law already had them half way home and they were both out of it loopy. I called the Orange beach Police and they said unfortunatly it happens way to often, but without witnesses and a description no way to investigate.
The go to is Outdoor Alabama for all of your answers.
INSIDE INFO: If you go to the Flora-Bama with your wife or significant other watch out for the pervs. There are couples down there that will drug you and take advantage. It happened to my wife and Bro in law GF. Luckily my Bro in law caught them in the act trying to lure them away. Fishing is good under the bridge and on the pier.

Bigmark, I'v not had hog brains and eggs since I was a kid when we raised hogs and butchered them.
That brings back good memories 😂
I can usually get them from a store chain down here named Piggly Wiggly.
Brains and eggs, when I can find the frozen brains.

Reel nice!. Don't forget to put the plug in. :)
Your right, I'm wrong. I was thinking about the prop shaft seals. Still heats them up if spinning.
