Not bad for an ol’ fart learning to fly fish. 19” net = decent fish

Nice fish! Good to see you finding some open water to fly fish. Yellowstone river?

Thank you all for your prayers and condolences for the family and me.
Yes, I will truly miss him but as some of you on here believe and KNOW, I will see him again.
We can take comfort in knowing that when Christ calls us home to be with Him we will see all our Christians friends and relatives that have passed before us.
It was such a blessing to have known him and fished with him. Just as it's such a blessing to know you all on here and have fished with over 30+ members from the stage.
We as believers know that when the day comes that we're called home there won't be any tears there, only by the ones we leave behind as they wait for their time to be called home.
Oh what a glorious day that will be.
My old friend is there with JESUS. How could I be sad !
No, the tears I shed are selfish tears, worldly tears. But only at first. Soon they pass and then they are tears of JOY ! For how can you be sad for someone who is finally HOME.
No more pain. No more sorrow. No more tears. That my friends is what we believers look forward to.
To be in the presents of the Lord for ETERNITY !
My heart goes out to my Stage family for all the love that is shown to one another here.
It makes me so proud to be a part of such a special group of people. I know Jim liked to read a lot of y'alls posts and he would make comments to me sometimes about posts that he'd read and ask me if I'd seen that one.
So thank you all for all your contributions and dedication to this site, which makes it what is, so very special.
Try to keep this in mind when making a post or comment. Do so out of your love for one another.
Thanks again to all my brothers and sisters that have shown their love with their condolences, comments and prayers. They are so appreciated. Steve, Saw1.😊🙏

Love your attitude, you are truly an inspiration to all of us! Love your stories and God bless.
P.S. Just celebrated my dad's 90th on Dec 23rd. He had open heart surgery right about 1 year ago. He is doing very well considering his age. He was not ready to checkout yet, has been given a new lease on life.

Yippee I finally caught a few Largemouth this morning! Bass fishing has been tough the last few weeks for myself and I think most of the Anglers here at Havasu but doing well with Stripers if they can locate them. Some are coming in with some big 8-9 lb fish. But Largemouth have been difficult until this morning when I launched my kayak at 10:30 at Mesquite Bay. Beautiful sunny 75° Arizona day with no wind, did some trolling for stripers and finally stopped in some tules and did some casting with my Square Bill. I caught two Largemouth 1- 1.5 pound and paddled back towards the launch ramp around 12:30 to catch one more in the reeds.
Best fishing story is as I arrived a guy was just pulling out at 12 ft aluminum row boat and he asked me what type fish he had in a bag. He thought it was a small mouth but when he opened it up it was a huge humongous Largemouth at least 6 lb maybe pushing seven and the biggest fish I've ever seen in person here at Havasu. He also caught it on a deep diving crankbait at 6:00 in the morning still in the dark which is way too cold and early for me!
He took it home for dinner.

OK, but your question was how much would you pay? For 5 days fishing, assume getting fed meals etc, $5000. Probably does not include travel. Bucket list for me too.
