Oops, inshore not indoor. Haven't had any luck catching crabs from my lazy boy yet, LOL. 🤣😂🤣😂
With the heavy rains recently, bay and indoor crabbing is not at its best. A good reliable place. No matter what, the weather is quite a ways North at netarts Bay, just south of Tillamook. It has no freshwater rivers or Creeks feeding into it so it never gets washed out with fresh water and there's always crabs
Welcome to the site. I like the freeway lakes north of Eugene right on I-5, good for bass and sunfish. (gets weedy after mid summer) Also check the myodfw.com website, there is a wealth of info there.
I know it's a bad time of year for crabbing due to the amount of rain, but if anyone is determined to get crabs, there is always Netarts Bay south of Tillamook Bay. This Bay has no freshwater rivers that flushed it out so they're almost always crabs there
Not sure of both States but I'm pretty sure one of them is Oregon, and the toy is the erector set. It was invented by a Man by the name of A.C. Gilbert. Here in the capital city of Salem, we actually have the AC Gilbert house which has been converted into an interactive museum and activity center for children and adults.
Plumbertom cover it fairly well. ODFW website has a surf perch fishing tutorial. The only info I can add is heavy pyramid weights in 4 to 6 ounce or you can find surf weights at coastal tackle shops, the have wires like little anchors to help hold in the surf. Chest waders help to stay dry while sending the long casts into the waves.
Best time of year for it is basically March thru May although available all year long. Mild waves work best. Look to MYODFW.com and you can find surf fishing tips. Also try local tackle shops near where you want to fish, also, talk to fisherman on the beach.
Walling has been closed due too homeless invasion in the area. There will be no trout stocking until further notice according to ODFW. All trout stocking in Salem will only be at Walter Worth lake behind Walmart on airport Rd.
Hey commander, I do believe there is nothing better than a good old fashioned snickerdoodle. I like to take two snickerdoodles and a little buttercream frosting and make a sandwich, mmmm, mmmm good
Nothing like a good smoked gouda
Wishing everyone here a new year filled with once of a life time trophy catches. Tight line and peaceful days.
Merry Christmas to all of yours commander. Look forward to your questions and queries every day.
In my world there is no place better than the Willamette valley inn Oregon. I can drive 90 minutes in any direction and be at the coast, the high desert, the Cascade mountains, the milder more dense rainforest of the coastal mountains, I get over the counter tags for salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, or halibut plus over the counter tags for elk, black tail deer. Also some of the best duck and goose hunting in the country. The winters are mild. The summers are tolerable and the spring and fall or the best times of year.
Favorite song would have to be "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and my sadest song would be "goodbye to yesterday" by Boyz II Men
Welcome to the forum slayer. Hope to meet you at a fishing hole somewhere.
