For good crabbing you need to wait till the rain stops and river levels drop, when the Bays are getting too much fresh water and diluting the salt concentration the crabbing is slow

I know it's a bad time of year for crabbing due to the amount of rain, but if anyone is determined to get crabs, there is always Netarts Bay south of Tillamook Bay. This Bay has no freshwater rivers that flushed it out so they're almost always crabs there
