Southeast Missouri Smallmouth color.
No reds or orange in the normal fish.

I was thinking about doing the same thing Jwid. The only problem is many brand name hooks that size have a smaller eye, that doesn't fit well on the unusual Arbogast hook hangers.
And Thanks buddy.

I bought a treble hook replacement kit at BP. They worked. You can even go a little bigger or smaller. Sorry to long ago to give more information. But knowing they exist should help.

Nice catch FF.
I replaced the hooks on my hula popper. Had the originals on it. Looked like the had a zinc dip platting on them. Missed a couple fish and got rid of them, good upgrade.

Very cool. Did you think you had a goldfish before you landed it? Obviously, SM, but flashes of that color in the water would have suggested anything but an orange smallie.

Good job Andy. I’m was taking a dead tree down before the heat so I missed the cooler weather.

Can most of us agree that our choices have been less than stellar? We need choices that are trying to get elected for the good of the country not for the good of themselves.

Don’t know anything about your area.
Welcome to the stage. I will say I spent most of my fishing years bank fishing. I have a pontoon now but still bank/dock fish most of the time. My success has been finding a clear point and casting parallel to the bank. Hitting areas from a foot to five feet from shore. Frogs, plastics, swimbaits, spinners, whopperpoppers working the shoreline from the point to both sides. I catch fish straight out, but parallel is where I usually get them. Good Luck!

Hey Ruff, do those electronics make them look big. Sorry to tell you that beats my personal smallest.

Wow! Impressive! I've thought about doing this but probably won't.

From the stories I heard. Best to think about it than try. I’ll be happy enjoying the video. They built it in Maine. I probably will never be in it. Expect to see videos of its adventures.

Jwid - been reading that the midwest has been in a furnace the past few days--that hot air mass is rolling over our way for a stretch through the weekend. Not looking forward to it. Was that a chartreuse swim jig you caught him on?

Just and average chartreuse spinner with a single chrome willow blade. Hit it about 10 feet out in four feet of water. Headed right under the dock and tried to bust my rod in half. And yes Fredfish, one is what I wanted. Then I went up to the house and showered. It was too hot to try for another.

I think it is sad that hear in California they are still building homes and asking us to not use water. But all the homes that they are building will have at least 3 to 4 people living in the homes and where will the water come from?

Same place the electricity comes from.
I’d be in the attic if I said more.
