Don’t tell me that having live scope, trolling motor with stop lock doesn’t pay off.
With the lunker I boated today. Had to debate where to have it mounted but decided to release and let someone else have the fun of the catch.

It's a good thing you had all those fish findin gadgets to help. Otherwise you might have been skunked.

You’ve set the bar pretty high there. It’s gonna be hard to beat that.🤨

I bow to your superior Hawg catching abilities Dave. I hope he didn't burn up your drag.

I was fishing Lake Samish last week for Kokanee with no luck. I switched over to perch with a mini spinner bait and 2" tube worm. To my surprise, First cast, I kept getting little hits as I reeled, but no hookups. When the lure got close enough to see, there must have been one hundred smallmouth about the size of the one in the photo chasing and pecking at it all the way to the boat. I had the same thing happen on several spots that day. I did not limit out, in fact got skunked on bass fortunately, but I sure had fun watching them. It says a lot for the future of that lake. Yes, I should have switch to a bass imitation, but I was perch hungry. The little bass were not getting hooked up, so no harm to them, just fun to watch. My fishing buddy got two on a smaller perch rig before he switched to something with a larger hook.
