[quote=fishrmans]Doesn’t sound like a carb problem to me. The first thing I would do is pull your fuel line out of the tank and replace the check valve. Easy to do, not expensive and often the problem...[/quot. Fist thing I would do is change out distriburtor cap rotor plugs and wires. And go from there.

Get one from Summit racing on line they will treat you 100%. They may not be the cheapest but the best I have found. They are not just for racing stuff.

Don’t all those rivers up there in Idaho run out to the Columbia River in Washington then out to sea?

Salmon river & Clearwater river run into the Snake river that runs into the Columbia.
Columbia is border between Washington & Oregon .

That is a beauty. I have fished the Clearwater several times. One of my sons used to live right on the river.

No reservoirs from the pacific to the salmon river? Amazing. And what an amazing fish. The salmon do it, but then they die. The rainbows survive and go back to the ocean.

There are 4 dams on the Snake river and 4 more on the Columbia river. They all have fish ladders for the fish to go around these dams.
Really neat to do down into the fish viewing rooms and watch . They employ people to count fish going up stream so they know what the run is doing count wise.
So the fish are not land locked like some people think.

Charter a raft trip. You will see a lot of beautiful country. And you can have some great fishing along the way. If your gone several days. Fly fishing is super there.
