Headed down to the boat, in hunerd degree heat,
Thought catchin some basses would surely be sweet.
I did catch a dozen on worm, crank n top,
But just like before, they'd hit then they'd stop.
All wrapped up and done, got all the way home,
Then turned around, went back to get my danged phone. 😡
Comin off'n the dock saw a guy that I know,
Took a left off the ramp, hit a cable, then noooo.
Landed flat on the gravel, got rocks in my knee,
The most biggest damage - how I feel about me.
So the message that's tucked in today's silly pome,
Is be careful, be thoughtful, before you head home.
The fishin was fun, waves, sweat and all.

What’s the PACT Act and how will it affect my VA benefits and care?

The PACT Act is perhaps the largest health care and benefit expansion in VA history. The full name of the law is The Sergeant First Class (SFC) Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act.

The PACT Act will bring these changes:

Expands and extends eligibility for VA health care for Veterans with toxic exposures and Veterans of the Vietnam, Gulf War, and post-9/11 eras
Adds more than 20 new presumptive conditions for burn pits and other toxic exposures
Adds more presumptive-exposure locations for Agent Orange and radiation
Requires VA to provide a toxic exposure screening to every Veteran enrolled in VA health care
Helps us improve research, staff education, and treatment related to toxic exposures
