Nice morning, 68° at the ramp @7:30, water temp 82.5°. Hit Barkwood Falls first, and tried a Popping Perch, and a Thunder Cricket chatterbait and got nothing.Switched to the Worm rod and got a couple Rockys, and the first LM, only 1.25lb. Caught a couple dinks 1SM,1LM, and a couple Gills. Worked the Western shoreline from the cove south, (the deeper shore) trying a MaxScent Flatworm on the Dropshot. Nothing but Gills and Rockys. Went back to the Dinger, and caught a 1.5LM and burned through a half a bag of Watermelon /Red Flake Dingers on the Panfish tearing them up. Ate my lunch in the shade of the Steel Bridge, and then headed to Pond Brook. Lost 2 decent ones at the boat, and they both tore off the worm. Worked my way up the Brook and finally got one in the boat,1.75LM. Caught a couple more dinks and Panfish, and decided to call it a day with 1 Dinger left in the bag. 3 Largemouth in the boat, 4dinks 2each L&SM, and enough Rockys and Bluegill to fill a 2 gallon bucket, if I wanted to. Missed a picture of a Seaplane landing 200yds away from me, so only fish pix today.

Nice day Fred, a 2 gallon bucket of panfish would have suited me quite well. Happy to see no crappies were mentioned.😝

Thanks Brad. The little bait wreckers were everywhere! I didn't see one Calico anywhere, even ran into the kid that was bailing them in last year, and after 3hrs, he said he had NONE. Maybe the Muskies ate them all?

Thanks Randy. The little nibblers must have been starving. The second the worm hit the water they were on it. I casted over a low branch one time, and as I lifted the worm out of the water, to flip it over the branch, a little Bluegill was hanging on to the tail of the worm. It was hilarious.

Whole lot better than a skunk my friend. Beats the alternative by a long shot.

Yeah Terry, even where I caught Bass, I had to work through them first. Half the time they pulled the worm into a ball. Had to crank it in and reposition it on the hook. Drove me crazy.

Good day, Fred. Can’t complain with all that action.
They say using “O”rings will save your dingers. I can’t confirm that.

Thanks Jer. They help if you're rigging Wacky. I usually rig them weightless, Texas rigged.

Oops, I thought you were using a wacky rig.
Is that a 5” dinger? I do the same thing sometimes with a 5”, but lately been downsizing to a 4” dinger wacky rigged.

Yeah Jer, thats a 5". Usually when I fish Wacky rigs I use Powerbait Max Scent Generals, also in 5". They give off more scent, which works good on slow moving presentations like Wacky rigs. I use Mustad double O-rings.
