Walleye Stockton lake, Mo.

Roark bluff east of the bridge under the power lines used to be pretty good. Shad rap used to work really good . Have not fished stockton in many years ,hope this may help.Good luck

Jig mold

Most jig molds have a cavity on the bottom .you pour a couple of ingots that heats your mold up. put a small chunk of wax in with your lead it helps to release . barlows out of richardson texas has a large inventory of do it molds, dont forget about hilts molds.I pour crappie jigs,spinner baits.road runners,rooster tails,tube jigs. ventalation is your first safety concern lead fumes are very toxic. stay safe and happy pouring.

New to Springfield, Mo....

Check the missouri department of conservation there are a lot of conservation areas around . I am in carthage, mo. We used to fish bushwacker wildlife area in vernon county. Also mdc puts out a monthly conservation magazine its great and its free just go on line, mdc.mo.gov/conmag to sign up.

How do I catch a bass in a pond that has the following features

Try a weedless worm with propeller and small beads . Yellow with black spots worked well for me no weights. Throw across the weeds when you get to a clearing let it drop into the whole, and hold on.

I am about to give jig painting and tying a try

Don't waste your money on pins 1/8 inch dowel rods are cheaper.Invest in a good tying vice. Usually three strips of rubber skirt material lay your strips over the head.I use black rod wrap thread finish your wrap with a couple of half hitches and a dab of flyhead cement. Made a ton of bass and crappie jigs and spinner baits over the years.

Need help, what type of trailer do I put on? Or should I even add a trailer?

Try a pork frog they work great in ponds and lakes , black or chartreuse are my favorites

Jigs

Put on a road runner if your bank fishing they are just as good as jigs.Fish around brush or tree roots and rocks
