Can anyone tell me the brand of this boat and trailer, it was given to me yesterday, needs quite a bit of work, tires and wheels, seats, winch and more. Has 60hp evinrude motor, under the cowling it looks ok but will get a battery to see if the electrics are ok. Has been sitting there for several years.

the hull looks sound, needs a clean up too, have to get wheels and tires to take it down to the lake, then will see if it floats

It might be easier to put a little water inside of the boat to see if any comes out anyplace. You can always open the drain plug to let the water out. Good luck with it. It's easier to see water coming out than going in.

It may be an old Oauchita (Wash-i-tah).

There should be a tag on it saying what kind it is, the HP rating, and the weight restriction.

You may be able to find the information through the registration numbers.

Look on the transom for a hull number Ronnie. After 1972,I think, all boats have a hull number. Fiberglass boats usually have them molded into the outside of the transom. Aluminum boats usually have a tag riveted to the transom. Inside there should be a Coast Guard capacity tag with max people /weight /horsepower ratings.
If there's no major hull damage, and the transom is solid, it's got potential.

If you get the Hull Identification Number off of the transom, you can look up here:

It is a sprint boat like the trailer says. Rode in one years ago but was bigger with 200 motor. In a tournament on London lake.
