I replace my line every year on light line reels , it does get dry rotted , but than again I fish pretty much every day ,
Definitely not good if there's toothy critters around they will strike it , go with black if you must use them , I don't use either
Mullet do it as ll the time here in the florida panhandle, don't know why , never really thought about it
I always fish in the rain ahead of a cold front, for Speckled Sea Trout , here in the florida panhandle, the colder and windier the better, always catch a limit of keepers,
Stren mono works great for me , I don't use a swivel with lures just tie leader directly to main line , better casting also , but I would make sure your your using a quality swivel if you just think you need one
Live bait is what Flatheads like, panfish 4- 6 inches long , they'll eat it up
They been in Jersey for as long as I remember , a long time ago, Delaware river amongst others , They come out of the water at night , I've heard stories about them latching on to people while camping along the rivers ,
Landprey eel , for sure, they latch on and suck blood ,
that will definitely take out the twist , I usually put an egg sinker and a swivel , on and let all my line out , but of course this is in my boat on the bay ,
Good seasoning and cooking , never over cook fish , under cooked is always better, over cooking causes a fishy taste , a lot of people think fish are supposed to taste fishy , they just ain't never eat properly prepared fish ,
I got to go with the Gulf of Mexico RED SNAPPER about a 3 pounder, broiled whole
Yes , you got to check regulations every time you go fishing, and the red snapper and grouper refs are crazy , in the gulf ,
Just catch and release in February , in N.W. Florida , or was last time I checked, they change regulations all the time ,
Looks kind of like a PORGY
