Vampire Fish found in VT?

Hi everyone,
These will never win a beauty contest, but they say there harmless.
This is the first time I've heard about these. I didn't even know they
exists.

I believe that's a lamparay and they have even gotten into the great lakes. Come up the St Laurence thru the locks with the big ships.

Anytime I see where an expert says not to worry, it’s time to worry. Ballast water also gave us Zebra mussels.

And numerous other non native species. I believe Florida is dealing with Lion Fish now. Dangerous but good eating.

Wonder about the walking catfish that was getting to be a problem down Miami way back in 60s? You would drive over them crossing the roads.
