Just a couple reds caught fishing for trout. Only keep 1 and didn't even see a trout (Spotted Sea Trout) for those of you that think rainbows and brooks are the only trout.

Wow, that looks more fun than a spec .
FinFisherman: Congratulations! That is a big red! I've always said that if Red fish would jump out of the water, they would be the National Fish of Texas! But they are strong and will pull back like a borrowed dog! Just Sayin...RJS

Are you aware that Redfish, Snook, and Spotted Sea trout are catch and release only until the end of May 2021?
That totally depends on where you live and doesn't apply to every where.
This may give some insight.
Just catch and release in February , in N.W. Florida , or was last time I checked, they change regulations all the time ,

These were caught on the east coast of Florida and only 1 was legal and I ate it!!! Believe me I know as I got caught with a trout on Feb 1 where they changed the zones. I was 1 county south of legal on trout and I gotta go to court in May for it.

That is an ouch Fin. Chances are wont be a court open so good luck and please post what happens on that if you do go.
Yes , you got to check regulations every time you go fishing, and the red snapper and grouper refs are crazy , in the gulf ,
