As long as the wind isn't blowing too hard. Don't mind a little rain at all, I've got some pretty nice rain gear, but wind is a totally different animal. The two together can make for a miserable day. I'd almost rather go to work. Almost.

I fish in the rain all the time. better cover, fish don't get spooked, light conditions favor hardware over bait.

If it is not too cold, or windy...yes. The fish are already wet so it doesn’t bother them!

I usually go fishin WAY to much to feel I have to go when it's rainin. I fish 2 to 3 times a week almost year round.
However, if I wasn't able to go as often as I do I might be more prone to fishin in the rain.

Light rain don’t keep me home

I love fishing in the rain, some of my best catch days. Put in a Wiggys raincoat and a cowboy hat you don't even know it's rainy until your buddy starts to whine.lol. they never bring rain gear.lol

Can duck hunt all day in rain, but for some reason fishing is different.

used to do it all the time. Rain days were always high percentage catch days. Key words are used to, these old bones don't like that kind of abuse any more. Welcome to the forum jray, glad to have you with us.

Depends on the temp and if it's a downpour? Fishing is good in the rain, freezing and drowning not good.

Half the time during steelhead season here you might have to until the river turns brown .

During warm weather a little rain is ok, fish seem to bite more. Cold, wind,or thunderstorms NO WAY.
