I finally registered so I thought I would take the time to say hello and also thank all of you for your time and posts!

I have always been an outdoorsy kinda girl and have always loved fishing. Grew up fishing all of oregon. Normally just lake fishing because fishing for salmon, steelhead, and ocean fishing was something I enjoyed doing with my dad only for the most part! We would fish anywhere we went!!
2 years ago he passed away and now gets to sit at the fishing whole catching the big ones all day long (that's where we go when we pass according to him) ever since I have taken up going by myself.
It's different but I have had all of you and you're posts and suggestions to help me along my journey and I appreciate it!!

I am looking for a fishing buddy or buddies; wife does not fish. I write like I talk so will try to keep this short.

Me: Active, retired, Sweet Home, Oregon. I have fished for catfish, salmon, steelhead, trout, halibut, tuna, rockfish. I have a 16 foot Sea King fishing boat. I have little experience using a boat for fishing, hope to find a fisher experienced with boats to help me learn to use my boat.

I fish with guides and charters. I travel to fish. Happy fishing for anything that swims

You: Man, woman, couple, does not matter. Be able to pay own way, some fishing experience, can fish during the week (preferred), has boating experience, own transportation.

If you catch, or even see, any kind of BASS at those two locations....please kill it and notify ODFW. We have had far too many lakes and rivers spoiled because of ignoramus people introducing smallmouth, largemouth, striper and walleye to Oregon waters. They eat salmon and steelhead smolts, decimate the rainbow and cutthroat stock, and generally change the waterbody's wholeecosystem.

You wanna be a "basshole" ? Go elsewhere, like Cali or south of the Mason-Dixon line and stay out of Oregon, please.....we be salmonid folk.
